Hey. Back on here after a brief hiatus to say that if anyone is planning a trip to SAN DIEGO, these are my top three food highlights from my recent trip with ma buddy @demeterellie🌴🇺🇸 (LA recs also incoming…possibly)

Yes she’s ‘rustic’ but she’s delicious and reeeeally easy to make. Rhubarb, custard & stem ginger galette (recipe by @emilygussin @deliciousmag) - the ideal spring finisher for yesterday’s Easter roast 👌 So nice to get a calm moment back home to bake and momentarily forget about the stress of the hideous London rental market 🥴😰

A lush two days back home and turns out Brighton has a few new restaurant gems, including @tutto.uk👌 Highlights for me were the carpaccio with parmesan & porcini; tenderstem fritto with pecorino & lemon; super garlicky, super delicious crab, tomato & samphire spaghetti; and a perfectly moist, perfectly seasoned, perfectly crunchy-coated chicken Milanese with crispy sage & capers 🤌
